Osmond Brothers Special, The Donna Fargo Show, The Roy Clark Show, and Mel and Susan Together. Wayne served as the announcer of these shows as well.
In the 1980's, the Osmond Brothers moved into country music, and Wayne's voice is featured as the bass singer of the group in such songs as I Think About Your Lovin', Never Ending Song of Love, and It's Just Like Falling In Love Over and Over Again.
In 1989, Wayne was featured in the movie, "It Nearly Wasn't Christmas" playing a dad who was trying to make a living for his family as a musician.
Wayne moved to Branson in the 1990's and has been performing with his brothers at the Osmond Family Theater, Country Tonight, Moon River Theater, and Branson Variety Theater. He goes on tour with the Brothers and is the "comedian" of the group as he literally stops the show to tell you his jokes as only Wayne can!
Although Wayne has the nickname "Crazy Wayne" and is full of comedy antics on stage, Wayne has a very quiet demeanor offstage.
In 1997, Wayne underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor and came through with flying colors. His positive outlook on life and his deep spiritual beliefs is what pulled him through this very trying time.
Wayne has always had an avid interest in flying, and received his pilot's license at the age of 16 - two years before he received his driving license! He has taught lessons to beginning pilots in flight training schools. Wayne loves working with tools and is mechanically inclined.
Wayne married former Miss Utah, Kathlyn White in 1974 and they have five children - three girls and two boys. Wayne's oldest daughter was 1995's America's Junior Miss and has also released a CD of Christmas music playing the violin.
The Osmond Brothers have changed their line-ups over the years, with different Brothers coming and going, but Wayne has been consistent in all of the Brothers various combinations. Wayne's commitment to the Osmond Brothers is evident in all that he does. Wayne, along with Jay, Merrill, and Alan will be celebrating 50 years of being in the entertainment business in 2007.
